Reception Desk Information Sheets
Besides the information board, we are also supposed to make an A4 information sheet for the reception desk at the university. I have so far only made one, and it isn't even done yet, but for the peer assessment I will post the unfinished version anyway.
Design #1
I wanted the board and the information sheet to complement each other, so I used the same elements as on the board on the sheet; e.g. the bird in the top left corner and the same font for the title. I made it dark blue and white instead of beige, as the blue is a stronger colour and is definitely more
eye-catching.
Looking at it now, I think the title could be bigger, it feels a bit weak. And I need to add something to fill in the gap at the bottom. The left side alignment seemed right at the time, but it doesn't really work like I wanted it to.
There are a lot of improvements to be made, but it's a great start.
Design #2
I created a second leaflet for the other board design I chose. It features the same wood elements as the board and it has the same title as well. For content, I decided on explaining what it all is about and explaining what the university does, and including the benefits of walking. I also added a small 'game' for people, so they can try and find the different plants and flowers along the University mile by using the website. The website is accessible from the QR code. The map is layered on top of a log circle to keep all the different sections separate.
